Opportunities, Outreach, Fellowship and Service Opportunities

Adult & Family Ministries:  Educational resources and activities that meet the needs of adults and families.  Services may include workshops, speakers, and educational materials on topics such as parenting, stress, marriage, budgeting, etc.  Contact Barb Mitchell for details.
United Methodist Women: U.M.W. is an organized community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.  This group supports church missions, congregation projects and community needs.  All women of the church are welcome.  UMW meets on the 3rd Wednesday at noon in the Fireplace Room.  For more information contact Pat Gregor. 
Food Bank:  Volunteers pack and distribute several bags of groceries to eligible individuals and families.  Open the third Thursday of each month from 8:30am - 11:30am.  Contact Dick Currie.
Funeral Dinners:  Volunteers provide dinners as needed for those who have lost loved ones.  Contact Cindy Mattey.
Missions:  Makes the church aware of their mission goals.  Special projects include a drive for emergency kits that are sent to persons in need locally, nationally, and worldwide.  Contact the church office at (724)379-4502.
Election Day Bake Sales:  Held on Election Day in May and November with proceeds applied to the Mission share.  Contact Jane Burzynski for donation ideas or to volunteer.

Yak & Snack:  Yak & Snack is held once a month, September thru May.
